1. General Risk Warning
Trading foreign exchange, contracts for difference, and other leveraged financial instruments carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all investors. Trading on leverage means that relatively small market movements can lead to large and rapid losses, which may exceed your initial deposit, and you can lose money quickly.
Before using the PHANTOM X software or making any trading decision, you should carefully consider your objectives, level of experience, financial circumstances, and risk appetite, carefully assess whether trading is appropriate for your personal financial circumstances, and seek independent advice if necessary.
2. No Guarantee of Profit
PHANTOM X is a trading automation tool. It is not a guarantee of profit, and MFXT does not promise, guarantee, or represent that you will earn any specific return or avoid losses. Any examples, statistics, or performance figures shown in the application are for illustration only and are not a promise of future results.
In particular, MFXT makes no guarantee regarding:
- profitability or any specific level of returns;
- growth of your account or balance;
- consistency or regularity of returns; or
- preservation of your capital.
Every trading outcome depends on prevailing market conditions and on the settings and parameters you select.
3. Past Performance & Hypothetical Results
Past performance is not indicative of, and does not guarantee, future results. Market conditions change, and strategies that performed well historically may perform poorly in the future. No representation is made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.
This applies equally to historical performance, simulations, backtests, optimization results, and hypothetical or illustrative examples. Such results do not predict future performance and must never be interpreted as guarantees of any outcome.
4. Risk of Total Loss
You may lose some or all of your invested capital. You should never trade with money you cannot afford to lose, and you should never deposit funds that are needed for essential living expenses. Leverage can work against you as well as for you, and can magnify losses.
5. Automated Trading Risks
Automated trading systems carry additional risks, many of which are outside MFXT’s reasonable control, including, without limitation:
- internet interruptions, VPS failures, and hardware failures;
- software bugs and MetaTrader platform issues;
- broker maintenance, broker execution delays, and slippage;
- liquidity shortages, spread widening, and volatile market conditions;
- news events, market gaps, and delayed price feeds; and
- power interruptions, latency, and API interruptions.
The software depends on third-party platforms (such as MetaTrader and your broker) and on your own VPS or device, which are outside our control. You remain responsible for:
- correctly installing, configuring, and monitoring the software;
- the settings, lot sizes, and risk parameters you choose; and
- regularly monitoring your account and being prepared to intervene manually.
6. Software Limitations
PHANTOM X is software only — a technical tool, not a forecasting service or a guarantee of any result. You acknowledge that:
- no software can predict markets with certainty;
- algorithms and strategies may fail or behave unexpectedly under certain market conditions;
- changing market conditions can reduce the effectiveness of any strategy over time; and
- unexpected technical issues, errors, or interruptions may occur.
7. Third-Party Dependency
The operation and performance of PHANTOM X depend on third-party services that MFXT does not control, including MetaTrader platforms, VPS providers, internet service providers, brokers, and hosting infrastructure. Any failure, downtime, delay, or change in those services may affect, interrupt, or impair trading performance, and MFXT is not responsible for such third-party failures.
8. Broker Risk
Your broker is a separate, independent party, and your funds are held by your broker, not by MFXT. MFXT is not responsible or liable for matters determined by your broker or its liquidity providers, including, without limitation:
- broker insolvency or misconduct;
- rejected orders or execution quality;
- margin changes and trading restrictions;
- liquidity providers and pricing differences;
- commissions, swaps, and spreads; and
- deposits and withdrawals.
9. User Configuration Risk
You are solely responsible for how you configure and operate the software and your trading account, including, without limitation:
- lot size, leverage, and account risk;
- strategy and parameter settings;
- VPS maintenance, software installation, and software updates; and
- monitoring your open positions.
Improper, careless, or unsuitable configuration may significantly increase your risk of loss.
10. Your Responsibility
You remain solely responsible for your own trading decisions and risk management. MFXT does not provide personalized investment, financial, legal, or tax advice, and nothing in the Services constitutes such advice. Any decision to trade, and the configuration of any automated strategy, is made at your own discretion and risk.
11. Market Volatility & Extraordinary Events
Markets can experience extraordinary events and extreme conditions that may significantly affect trading outcomes, including, without limitation, flash crashes, extreme volatility, political events, wars, central-bank announcements, natural disasters, and unexpected economic news. During such events, execution may be impaired, spreads may widen, liquidity may disappear, and prices may gap, resulting in losses that may be larger or faster than expected.
12. No Fiduciary Relationship
Nothing in your use of the Services creates any advisory or fiduciary relationship between you and MFXT. MFXT is not acting as an investment adviser, is not acting as a financial manager, is not acting as a fiduciary, and does not manage, hold, or have access to client funds.
13. Educational Content
Any tutorials, examples, webinars, documentation, community discussions, or other educational content that MFXT may provide are offered for general informational and educational purposes only. Such material does not take account of your personal circumstances and must not be interpreted as financial advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument or to adopt any strategy.
14. Regulatory & Compliance
The availability and suitability of leveraged trading products vary by jurisdiction, and regulations differ between countries. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that your use of the Services and any trading activity complies with the laws, regulations, licensing requirements, tax obligations, and trading restrictions applicable to you in your country.
15. Acknowledgement
By using the PHANTOM X software and the Services, you acknowledge and agree that:
- you understand the risks of trading leveraged financial instruments;
- you understand the limitations of automated trading software;
- you accept full responsibility for your own trading decisions and configurations;
- you understand that losses may be substantial and may exceed your expectations; and
- you use the PHANTOM X software and the Services entirely at your own risk.
